National Business Crime Solution is a not-for-profit initiative which works with police and the business community to help tackle business crime in the United Kingdom.
Businesses share their data via our online platform which we analyse, put in context and use to provide useful intelligence and alerts to our members on emerging trends and linked series of offences. We then work with police to ensure effective action is taken.
By gathering data and sharing information across the public and private sectors, we can prevent and detect emerging issues caused by prolific and persistent offenders.
Since we started operating in 2012, our work has led to hundreds of convictions, decades of sentences handed down and the breaking up of criminal teams that were costing businesses tens of thousands of pounds.
We received funding from the Home Office in 2016 in recognition of our work.
As well as supporting our members to take more effective preventative action through our early reporting, we also use the intelligence collated to demonstrate the impact business crime has on our communities, as part of an ongoing lobbying strategy to influence Government and policing priorities.
