We’ve partnered with Bath Business Improvement District, to help reduce crime and drive business engagement across Bath.
The Bath BID operate a Business Crime Reduction Partnership which has the aim to prevent and deter crime and antisocial behaviour in the city centre. Safe and Secure Bath brings together night-time and daytime security under one partnership.
The Safe and Secure Bath scheme has three key elements:
- Bath BID Marshalls in the city centre seven days a week.
- A secure intranet system, which will allow businesses to receive information from the police.
- A radio link operation, connected to the police, CCTV and each other.
The new partnership between the BID and NBCS will see members in the area benefiting from access to further crime alerts, details of travelling offenders and trend analysis, all designed to support crime reduction in the area.
Bath BID are a key stakeholder and driver of business crime reduction. By joining NBCS Connect, they strengthen their connections to the national data sharing network and demonstrate their commitment to levy payers, by increasing their BCRP member offering.
